“Subhadra” Sandra Griffiths has been practicing and sharing yoga and wellness for twenty-eight years. Journeying from humble beginnings of Jamaica, overcoming abuse and poverty to owning Yoga Angels International.

Subhadra has been featured in Forbes Magazine and has established one of the only children’s yoga programs with the City of Beverly Hills California. Subhadra established Yoga Angels in Jamaica 2006 and currently certifies most of the teachers on the island.

In 2020 Subhadra introduced Yoga Angels teachings in Africa - Kenya and is currently returning in 2023 to further develop her African relationships and programs.

A mother of four incredible beings ages 33-18, Subhadra and her family shares yoga and wellness in unconventional places, spearheading a three-year wellness and certification program in the Jamaican Youth Correctional Facilities funded by USAID-United States Agency for International Development And OAS-Organization of American States in 2015-2018.

Other impressive corporate contracts include City of Beverly Hills Schools and (LAUSD) Los Angeles School District in California and Sagicor Bank in Jamaica. Subhadra has even brought wellness to the United Nations sharing how to use their work environment for healing. A jovial woman with a grounded presence she continues passionately to share wellness as a healing modality.
